On the 26th November we will be having our Club AGM at the Station Inn at Pocklington. This is for current Ebor Vale Riding Club Members only. A buffet will be provided and this is your opportunity as a member to influence how the club is run so it would be great to see as many of you there as possible.

It’s Party Time!
Ebor Vale Xmas Party open to all members, family and friends.
It’s time to ditch the jods and get on your dancing shoes!
Friday 6th December at Kilnwick Percy Golf Resort 7pm – 1am!
£30 per person includes a welcome glass of fizz; a two course sit down meal (starter and main or main and desert – 3 course option not available for party nights) followed by a disco. Tables of 10 (bottle of fizz included for each table of 10) so why not get a gang together or there will be plenty of us going solo!
A deposit of £10 per person is required to reserve your space (we have only 30 so don’t delay!) If you are interested please send payment to Ebor Vale reference Xmas as soon as possible or by 31st October latest.
Be quick though as once the 30 spaces have gone they’ve gone!
Menu choices and remainder of the balance to be paid by 22nd November.

Tack & Equipment Marking AND Equine Table Top Sale Social Evening
at Melbourne Village Hall (YO42 4QJ) on the 14th March
Free entry and parking. Refreshments. Tombola
Sellers set up 18.30 – Doors open to general public from 19.00 to 21.45
Humberside Police’s Rural Crime Prevention Team will be present: East Riding of Yorkshire residents can have their tack marked for free, discuss security issues and make appointments for one of the team to visit your yard to improve security. (The police are only funded to help people on their home patch of East Yorks, sorry if you are based in North Yorks!) We are hoping that David Horsley, the Vale watch/ Howden farm watch coordinator will be able to join us too.
Table top sellers – £10 per table PLUS a prize for the tombola. Tables are available for you to put up and we ask that you put them away afterwards. Ebor Vale Social and Quiz Night!
Friday 28th March 6:30-10pm – The Henry Thirsk Amenity Centre, The Balk, Pocklington, YO42 2NZ
The bar will be open, beef or veggie shepherds pie option with green salad, cake and great company – what more could you wish for on a Friday night!
Quiz teams of between 4-6 people and please don’t worry if you’re coming alone we can pop you in a team as we’re all very friendly! The quiz, however, will not be horsey so why not make up a friends or family team?
If you would like to come along please comment below or message Ebor Vale Riding Club Page (also add if you need veggie option and any other particular dietary requirements/ allergies) and send payment of £15 per person to Ebor Vale reference ‘name and quiz’.
