Working Equitation @ Thornton House Farm
May 9 all-day
Working Equitation Training is at Thornton House Farm – 9th May.
If you are planning to compete at the Regional competition at Stubbley Hollow on the 10th, this could be very helpful.
Clair Hair, an accredited W.E. Trainer with insurance & 1st aid certificate, will be guiding us through the Working Equitation obstacles in the indoor school at Thornton House Farm.
Suitable for all; any level of experience, and all types of horses in any tack. Groups are organised to match your level of experience so that beginners get proper explanations and experienced combinations get to work on specific issues. This sport exercises your horses’ brain and yours!
We do ask people in the first and last group to give a couple of minutes help to set up or put away if at all possible.
Current members group session £55
Non members group session £60
Current member private session (1 hour) £85
Non member private session (1 hour) £90
HOW TO BOOK.
email Elice on elicew@outlook.com and get confirmation of your place, then pay by BACS to EBOR VALE RIDING CLUB
SORT 54-41-24
ACCOUNT NO. 54647908
The price reflects venue hire and trainers fees, EVRC do not make a profit from these clinics. The group sessions are 90 minutes long, twice the length of normal classes, with a lot of one to one assistance. There is an absolute maximum of 4 in a session, but often there are only 2 -3 . 1 hour long private sessions are also possible which is often helpful for those who are competing.
Any questions please contact Elice on elicew@outlook.com, the notifications from the Facebook page are unreliable.

More information about BRC Club Jumping

This is a grass roots competition where clubs in all areas can run qualifiers with the aim of encouraging people to have a go. To qualify for the finals, competitors must complete two clear rounds at the relevant height to gain qualification. The Final is taking place on 10th October at Bury Farm Equestrian. Non members can compete, but to be able to go to the Final you MUST be a BRC riding club member. for more information please see;

BRC Club Jumping Series | The British Horse Society

Qualification cards are available for purchase https://brc.bhs.org.uk/select

Competitor will need to create an account, then go to the event entry section and select Club SJ Series Qualification Form. The Horse and Rider must be stated on the purchase to be valid.

Qualification forms may be purchased retrospectively within 21 days of the competition (but not after the qualification period has ended), providing the result can be proven. The Qualification Form/Online Link will be emailed out to the person purchasing.

Qualification cards (digital) must be purchased per combination and are £6.00 each (this permits the combination to qualify at any height). Printing and posting are available for those who wish to receive a hard copy at additional cost. Competitors do not need to purchase a competitions pass.
