Ebor Vale Championship Show 2008    

AREA 4 HORSE TRIALS 2008

We entered 4 individuals in the Area 4 Horse Trials at Bishop Burton on Sunday 1/6/08. 

It was a very wet morning but this didn't seem to affect their performances. Sophie Blades on Peewit was placed 5th in the Junior Novice event. 

Our other members were not placed but all performed well.  They were Lisa Kirby on Timi, Rachel Newton on Premier Ambitions and Louise Gillett on Yorkies Midnight Meg. 

Well done to you all!

Linda, Janet and myself helped on the day.  Linda and I were on road crossing duty which was a wet but we did get a good view of some of the cross country fences. We did see all our members safely through and all seemed to be going great guns.  Janet helped with the show jumping scoring in the afternoon. Without the helpers we would not be able to enter teams or individuals so thanks to them.

AREA 4 HUNTER TRIALS

Both the Senior and Junior Teams entered in the Hunter Trials held at Epworth Equestrian Centre on Sunday 20th April 2008 did very well.

There were only a few mishaps on the day, one being a problem with Lisa Kirby's Flu Vac but it was sorted thanks to her partner, also it proved to be a more testing course this year for some.
