History of the Club

Ebor Vale Riding Club was formed in the late 1970's and we have used various fields in the past for our shows but always around the A1079 Wilberfoss, York area.

We have moved to a new field near Everingham for 2009.  It has good sandy soil, is very flat and has a nice large area of grass suitable for competing!

There is plenty of parking space at the field and you will be directed to a convenient location when you arrive.

We have a full set of showjumps and working hunter style fences as well as boards for two 20 x 40 dressage arenas.  Members can also use the field for practice when there is not a show on.

We have no clubhouse at the moment as ours blew away last summer in rather windy conditions.  We do still however have a caravan, which is located near the main entrance to the field where you enter classes, get your number and get refreshments (tea, coffee, squash and home made cakes etc,).

Toilet facilities are also available on site.

Directions for getting to our club field:

The Oaks, Hayton Lane, Everingham, York, YO42 4LQ.

From York take the A1079 to Hull for approximately 10 miles. Turn right to Everingham just after the dual carriageway at Hayton.  Follow this road for approximately 1 mile then turn right back towards Hayton.  Continue along this road until you see a EVRC sign and Club field on the right.
