We have just held our first Wednesday night Showjumping Show (10th June).  Unfortunately due to the terrible weather only the very brave competitors dared to venture out but we still had a good night, and the going was excellent despite the rain!     See Results.

Please can you get your names sent to Linda A.S.A.P if you want to be in the Area 4 teams this year, the more the merrier!  Either at the Horse Trials in June or the Dressage and Showjumping in July  and especially if you can help at any of the events we would greatly appreciate your support.  Area 4 TEAMS.

Area 4 NEWS...

AREA 4 Horse Trails at Bishop Burton College on Sunday June 21st.

Ebor Vale Riding Club took one team and four individual competitors to the Riding Clubs Area 4 Horse Trials competition held on Sunday 21st June 2009 at Bishop Burton College.

The Senior Novice Team consisted of Rachael Newton, Lisa Kirby and Kate Startin didn’t get placed.

Junior Sophie Blades had a brilliant day and came 1st in both the Novice and Intermediate class on her two ponies.

Junior Louise Gillet came 4th in her section in the Novice too and Harriet Morris-Baumber came 2nd in the Senior Open. 

 Well done to all the competitors and to all the helpers, especially Emma and Fiona who were only supposed to help for 1/2 a day and ended up doing all day!!!  ..

AREA 4 Hunter Trials at Epworth Equestrian on Sunday 12th April 2009.

We entered 1 Senior Novice Team consisting of Liz Crosby, Lisa Kirby, Sally Wilkinson and Rachael Newton. 1 Senior Open Individual Sarah Wilkinson and 2 Juniors Sophie Blades and Louise Gillett.  This was the first year for a new format of a Showjumping round then crosscountry (Showcross)!  There were mixed results and the novice team did not get placed but Sophie Blades was placed 4th..  Well done to all riders and many thanks to the helpers with which we would not be able to compete!
